Meet the Directors...
Jana Cudney (Artistic Director)
Jana has two major life passions: making the world a better place and singing. She is so excited to be able to put both of these passions to good use in forming the new vocal group, Tomorrow’s Voice. Through Tomorrow’s Voice she is hoping to promote and inspire peace, compassion and social responsibility through vocal music. These are the values which she holds near and dear in her heart and which she believes are the cornerstones to creating happiness throughout the world. Through Tomorrow’s Voice, in conjunction with The PeaceJam Foundation (www.peacejam.org), she hopes to inspire today’s youth to lead us to a more caring, thoughtful and fearless future.
Chris Wade (Music Director/Vocal Arranger/Instrumental Tracks)
Chris is proud to be a part of this purposeful concert and excited to share our message of Peace, Love & Understanding through music and the amazing and talented young vocalists of Tomorrow’s Voice! After years of acting in theatre locally and national tours, and nearly a decade performing on cruise lines as a singer, Chris moved to NYC and created a show that showcased Chris’ songs (many with lyrics by Jana Cudney) in a review called 29LIVES. After Chris attended the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, Chris’ work was produced and performed in NY, most notably Off Broadway Great Leap Forward. Other shows that Jana and Chris wrote together include two short original musicals which were seen in NYC & CA: Hello, How Are You? I Love You! & It’s Up to Us! (an environmental children’s musical). Chris started his own vocal-musicians’ company Chris Wade Music Productions, which has produced musical acts such as The Beltway Bunch (seen on The Letterman Show), and other vocal groups which have been seen on 30Rock, The Weather Channel, Stephen Colbert, The Daily Show and with Jamie Foxx on the Annie Movie promo with Sony Pictures. Chris’ many vocal groups have performed recently at Disney, at celebrities’ private residences (including Diana Ross, Johnny Galecki, Judy Greer and more!) and at numerous events all over SoCal and NYC. Chris most recently musical directed, accompanied and vocally arranged two shows for New Heights Productions: Ren & Friends, and In Harmony. Chris also works with local RUSD high schools North & Poly on their Spring musicals, as pianist/accompanist. Chris is excited to share that his original and popular Romeo & Juliet musical Scenes From a Balcony or Such Sweet Sorrow will be performed at Poly & North Spring 2018! Chris’ vocal arranging work can be heard on TV shows through BMG Music, and other sync license song placements and films. Chris has produced/arranged instrumental tracks for independent productions of Debutante Warriors the Musical in Dallas (twice!), for National Nonsense Political Satire Revue as well as The Victoria Woodhull Story in NYC. Chris is also a pianist/singer who has appeared on many cruise lines including NCL, HAL, P&O and Carnival. Chris is very grateful to Jana Cudney for years of friendship, support, music and collaboration. He is so proud she is realizing her mission, her “why” with this, the inaugural production of Tomorrow’s Voice. “For where there’s a man that has no voice, there ours shall go singing.” - Jewel www.chriswademusic.com
